Are you interested in developing skills, meeting like-minded people or supporting your local community? 20 West London cultural organisations have partnered to deliver a West London Volunteer Fair on Wednesday 20 March 2024. This is a great way to connect with local organisations and learn more about opportunities near you.
We recognise that people volunteer for a variety of reasons and we offer opportunities to match these. Whether you are a student seeking to develop skills, a worker looking for one-off opportunities, a parent/carer hoping to connect with your community or a retiree wanting to stay active, there are volunteering opportunities in West London for you. Come and find out what West London has to offer!
Representatives from the following organisations will be available on the day to share their opportunities and answer any questions you may have:
Ealing and Hounslow Community Volunteering Service (EHCVS)
London Museum of Water and Steam
London Transport Museum (Acton Depot)
We are holding a Takeover Day on Instagram on Thursday 14th March, when our volunteer Sukhman will will be answering any questions you may have. Visit our Instagram to ask your question!
We are also running drop-in bite-size sessions during the Fair at 11am and 12pm, where you can discover how diverse and fun volunteer roles are! Join us at Meeting Room 2 on the second floor to hear more from a Live Interpretation volunteer. A member of staff can point you out in the right direction.

Getting to Boston Manor House
The House is a 10 minute walk from Boston Manor underground station (Piccadilly Line) and from Brentford Railway Station.
The 195 and E8 buses stop outside the House and the E2 bus is only a short walk way.
A limited number of charged for parking spaces are available in the Boston Manor Park car park. These have a four hour limit Monday-Friday. For accessible parking queries, please contact the team at bostonmanorhouse@hounslow.gov.uk.
